In this video, I go over the process of repairing an Early-2011 13″ Apple MacBook Pro that partially turns on, but the fan will not spin and the system won’t boot. The issue ended up simply being a bad current sensing resistor on the PPBUS_S5_HS_COMPUTING_ISNS / PPBUS_G3H rails. Replacing this resistor completely fixed the board.

  1. Is it possible to change a late 2006 macbook pro motherboard to early 2008 motherboard i have a 2006 that has board issues but needs to be replaced as well the early 08 has a bad screen can these be swapped
