Connecting MacBook to Cisco Router for configuration

I had difficulty finding how to connect my Mac laptop to the Cisco Router for configuration.
It was simple once I found it, connect your USB-serial adapter to the Mac, and the serial cable to the adapter and the console end to the router.
Then use the “Terminal” program on the Mac to connect. Be sure to install the drivers for the USB adapter on the Mac. Use the “screen” command like this:
screen /dev/name_of_device_driver 9600 . That’s all.
